Thanksgiving Food Drive
National Junior Honor Society’s Annual Food Drive
This year our food drive will be held from November 9th until November 17th. The collected food will be donated to families in our community. Suggested items are as follows: any canned goods, any boxed food products (cake mixes, instant potatoes, Jell-o, puddings, stuffing mixes, etc.), rice, flour, sugar, powdered milk, etc. Please do not send perishable items.

Each homeroom will receive a featherless turkey to dress this year. For every two items that you donate, a feather will be given to you for your classroom turkey. The best dressed turkey (most feathers) in the elementary classes and in the junior high classes will result in a donut and orange juice breakfast for that homeroom. All classes that contribute at least 50 cans or boxes will receive candy.

Clearwood Junior High Sweatshirts
The NJHS is continuing the sale of the CJHS navy blue hooded sweatshirts. Order forms are available in the front office and from Mrs. Anger in room 118. Orders may be returned to homeroom teachers or to Mrs. Anger. The orders are placed every week, and the shirts arrive 1 to 2 weeks later. There is a special Class of 2010 shirt available for all eighth grade students. The price of the shirts is $20.00.
