Message from the Principal

Dear Parents/Guardians and Students, 

Welcome back to Clearwood Junior High School and an exciting new school year. It is an honor and privilege to serve as Principal, positively impacting the lives of our students each and every day. I remain committed to building strong and collaborative relationships with students, staff, parents, and community as we work together toward our shared vision. 

This year, we embrace the district theme "Building a Legacy" - a powerful reminder that the work we do today shapes the future we create together. Our focus remains unwavering: fostering academic achievement and growth while developing the whole student. 

We extend a warm welcome to our new families joining the Clearwood community. We are confident you will find our school to be safe, academically rigorous, and filled with enriching opportunities for growth and connection. 

As a Leader in Me School, we continue to deepen our commitment to developing leadership and life skills in every student. Through the 7 Habits, our students are learning to be proactive, plan with purpose, prioritize effectively, think win-win, listen actively, collaborate powerfully, and maintain balance. These habits form the foundation of sustained achievement and prepare our students to lead meaningful lives. 

Our active and committed Parent Teacher Student Association (PTSA) plays a vital role in supporting our mission. Whether you work full-time or part-time, we invite you to participate in at least one event this year. Many hands truly do make light work, and your involvement strengthens our entire school community.

We empower each student to reach their full potential by setting high expectations and providing a high-quality education for all. We build trust by maintaining collaborative partnerships with students, their families, and community members through community events and interest-based learning opportunities. Learners are equipped to meet current and future challenges to develop social awareness, civic responsibility, and personal growth.
